Developed by Dr Rob Endicott and Dr Toheed Nasir of UKSedation, in collaboration with Professor Paul Coulthard, creator of the Indicator of Sedation Need (IOSN), this online tool provides a clear and structured framework for assessing the justification for sedation.
It is particularly valuable during sedation reassessments and serves as an effective screening tool in general dental practice, helping to identify patients who may benefit from being offered sedation.
